I really do struggle with getting motivated these days. My 'get up and go' seems to have 'got up and gone'!
Moving home to where I live now there was a list of 'things to be done', plus a 'one day classic' car to renovate. Some of this was done but then a heart attack completely changed my life and my mindset. None of those things are important any more, they may get done they may not. They will all still be there tomorrow, I hope I am but nobody ever knows.
I wake up each morning and just do what I want to, maybe that's a busy day but it could just as easily be a lazy day, or two or even three. After a working life of 55 years it's now my time for retirement, time for me to take things easier, something I now realise I should have done years and years ago!
