To be honest, I don't have anything against our Royalty, but I don't think any of them should be privy to the public purse apart from the ruling Monarch herself. not even the Crown Prince. If they wish to live a life of luxury, then it should be down to the Queen herself to subsidise them, otherwise, they should do what all of our own children have to - Get a ruddy job!10-04-2019, 03:42 PM

Yeah, they bring in crowds of Yanks and snap happy Japs, but they never see the Royals as such. They are simply ushered around a big sandstone old ruin near Regent's Park buying a bookmark and a model red bus at the gift shop.
Besides, all the money they spend is now redirected towards paying for Brexit I reckon.
Meghan should have stuck to acting in dodgy sitcoms and Hewitt's lad would no doubt have been fast-tracked through the Army to Colonel and collected his massive pension at the age of 30.
