I wasn't thinking of carrots at the time I suggested it - the French, the Austrians, and the Russians had the right idea about their aristocracy.

To be honest, I don't have anything against our Royalty, but I don't think any of them should be privy to the public purse apart from the ruling Monarch herself. not even the Crown Prince. If they wish to live a life of luxury, then it should be down to the Queen herself to subsidise them, otherwise, they should do what all of our own children have to - Get a ruddy job!

So this lovely couple with a fair bit of cash (from somewhere) are throwing it into their new abode and a further £1.5 million will be funded by the taxpayer.

They won't get their hands dirty of course as they are having a team of gardeners on hand at all times to supervise in case either of them ends up with muddy boots.

Expensive carrots indeed when neighbours of mine who have allotments have to contend with migrants sleeping in their sheds and eating their potatoes.

Don't they say,the royal family are good for the economy,Floydy?

No doubt Alan tittles, will be their head gardener,

I am not a royalist,sorry!.

Who on earth is Alan Titties lol!?

Yeah, they bring in crowds of Yanks and snap happy Japs, but they never see the Royals as such. They are simply ushered around a big sandstone old ruin near Regent's Park buying a bookmark and a model red bus at the gift shop.
Besides, all the money they spend is now redirected towards paying for Brexit I reckon.
Meghan should have stuck to acting in dodgy sitcoms and Hewitt's lad would no doubt have been fast-tracked through the Army to Colonel and collected his massive pension at the age of 30.
Spongers all.
