Horrid weather again up here - heavy rain and strong wind during the night and I couldn't sleep!

Good Morning Rosemary and everyone else.

There are no cobwebs around our home, they were blown away last night.

There are weather warnings out from the Met office that we will get strong to gale force winds today, wow! no kidding!! What do you think we have had for the last few days?

Not much better here. We have storms stacked up off the Pacific coast waiting to roll in. Typical weather pattern that, unfortunately, lasts until July.

The weeks are rolling by, just 6 weeks 'til Christmas .... yikes!!! I expect it will be hustle and bustle in the shops from now on

Hi all! Perfect Autumn day here, warmed up nicely: 14 C (56 F) before lunch, not a cloud in the sky and may make 16 C by afternoon - above normal for the first time this chilly month! Doesn't get much nicer than this in November. To the market then the library to pick up my holds.

Hope the gale force winds subside! Stay safe and warm all!

We had a right old storm here last night, the lights flickered then went out for an hour or so, you can never find the spare candles in the dark even though you promised yourself to leave them handy after the last time.

We had a dry morning here but rained just before lunch. We just managed to get a good walk in for the dogs.
