Re: A final say

If there was a second referendum I reckon remain would swing it.
People are fed up with all these goings on and just want things settled .

Yes - London has a large population, good transport links, and is close to the centre of Government and main media outlets - when compared to Skegness, for example.

Re: A final say

The Gov't should do to those Shouty people with whistles and flags what they did to the Miners in the 80's .......send in the murdering scumbags in the South Yorkshire PD and the SPG.......... or whatever the modern equivalent is .
Why should only the working class suffer police/state brutality.

Time the protesters found out the true meaning of protest,.

No Moscow we cannot do that .
One thing that makes Britain still Great is our democracy and the right of free speech .
We can not deny people this , if we do we decend to the level of any tyrannical dictatorship.

Surely the refusal to accept the democratic choice of the electorate is part of the problem!

This doesn't for a second change the result nor the agreed democratic system. No different to a General Election.

In a GE the winners can win by just a single seat.

Trying to find excuses to discount, ignore or otherwise overturn a democratic vote is simply tyranny.

If you respect and want democracy in this country then you must accept the will of the voting majority. It's that simple.

The minute you join the ranks of protesting Remainers you leave the path of democracy and start supporting dictatorship and mob rule.

Which is ironic in many ways because the "close referendum" you talk about was only possible because you actually had a vote in the first place. Destroy/remove democracy and you don't even get that vote at all!

Such would be the future for all if we stay in the EU. If only the ranting masses would actually cease their teenage tantrums for a second and actually read the Lisbon Treaty then they would see that it stiupulates very clearly that we will lose our ability to vote for our UK political parties.
Westminster will become redundant and we'll be forced to look at very high level European political parties.
