Advert too racy?

Pretty Little thing advert has been shut down because a viewer complained that it oversexualised women.

Fashion companies are being rapped for their marketing saying it's too racy.

As a viewer I wouldn't complain, I'm just green with envy at those fabulous bodies

How do you see it? Do you think it makes women look like sex objects. Do you see it as offensive? Were they right in shutting it down.

Once again, it's all because of ONE viewer (probably an ugly one at that)

Probably just a jealous woman, who wished she had a body like that, I don't think its too racy, she is not showing anything. Wished I had a body like hers.

I was thinking the same. I bet it's only a matter of time that they will axe love island. Those girls enjoy showing off their beautiful bodies.

This. The one dictating to the many.

No complaints of horny lesbians cavorting in a bedroom or gay men snogging? I couldn't give a damn about someone's sexuality or how it's portrayed in the media. What pisses me off is the double standards.

I totally agree Judd.My greatest fear is that we are all becoming controlled. In the last ten minutes I have read that they are planning on rationing sugary treats, stopping travel in petrol cars and not showing bodies, on ads, yet they want us all to lose weight.
If governments hadn't encouraged the import of sugar ( a cheap form of carbohydrate that boosted our sweet manufacturers) or allowed so much transport of goods by road ( to boost our economy) we wouldn't have the problems we have now!
Now they don't want women to be proud of having a good body, as many did in the 60's. They seem to want them all producing more babies, by providing housing for those who reproduce but can't provide for their own children!
Perhaps banning over productive immigrants & teaching our own women that having good bodies is more likely to find you a man, who will provide a home and food for their babies, is a good idea!

Re: Advert too racy?

At what point in history have men or women wanted to look at pictures of fat ugly people? This lilly livered pandering to "some" complainant makes me so mad.
