You can set your phone to remind you if you are getting close to your limit and even then, you can ring the supplier and add a top up for that month. Absolutely agree, I get 30Gb, at the end of the month there is usually 29.3Gb left, it really annoys me but that's what I get with my plan (I need the unlimited overseas calls)
The only time it really comes in handy is when I am travelling but even then i might only use a gig or two more.
Ironically this month they gave me an extra 15Gb because it is my birthday so at the end of this month I will have 44.3 Gb left
