I don't necessarily agree with that.

A persons true nature cannot always be judged so simply.
For example:

A death of someone they loved, and they sob hysterically.
Does that show they are hyper-sensitive, or hysterical?

Or - We see someone getting beaten up by muggers and are afraid and run for it.
Does that show they are a cowardly nature?

Or - Someone accuses you of something you haven't done and you are angry.
Does that show you have a fiery temper?

Or - Someone is hurting and they won't talk about it.
Does that mean their nature is cold and unfeeling?

And so on . . .

I’m not sure you can tell their true nature, SF, through a reaction.

I can see a wind up a mile off....” NOW”........those who are trying to get a reaction..imo.

That is your opinion, SM...which I respect....doesn’t make my statement right, only from my own perspective.

I agree Pauline, as I have said.

People's reactions are much more complicated. Sometimes we can even react entirely different to usual according to the mood we are in when something happens even - 'time of the month' is a good example. Or a run of bad things happening and then something is 'the last straw.'

Re: Reaction

My friend Isaac says 'every action has an equal and opposite reaction'.

What I think he implies is that it's the action that's the important bit.

So, it's not a lot of use talking about the reaction unless you, first describe the action!

Have a nice day!

Perhaps, in a non-physical sense, Sir Newton warns beware of what you set in motion as consequences shall invariably follow.

I just asked him, SM, and he thinks that you are right!
