Re: Covid-19 Vaccinations

I'm glad you are feeling better Annie....im feeling better too although I still have terrible ringing in my ears....so does my husband who had the jab the same time as me...he didn't have the dizziness and vomiting but we are both left with similar symptoms. I ache too but that could be all the decorating

Just one word of warning though I was told the second jab would probably be OK and less likely to cause side effects....have to say that wasnt the case with me the 2nd one caused more problems so I hope you are ok.

We'll get there Annie.....Mups I hope you are feeling better too.

Had my 2nd jab on Monday - no problems or issues whatsoever (AstraZeneca).

Which is pretty good now that it's nearly summer and friends have lots of plans to meet up. Only a couple of weeks ago I thought I'd have to pull out I was still feeling so rough.

The GP has persuaded me to have the second dose. She also had strong side effects with the first dose but said that people who have this tend to have an easy time with dose 2 of AZ. Pfizer the opposite is true with dose 2 causing more side effects than dose 1.

Mups and Summer - hope you are getting a little better too.
Glad to hear your have health has improved Annie, I hope it continues...

Re: Covid-19 Vaccinations

Thanks all I'm hoping that everyone gets over the vaccine side effects over time. It's so unpredictable and doctors aren't much help.

I've had both of mine and have a card. I have also downloaded the NHS health app on my phone and both of them are recorded in it

Hi

I simply do not get the resistance to the jabs.

They are much safer then getting Covid.

There is a rumour in the Asian community that being vaccinated makes you infertile. This applies to AZ I believe. This is stopping many being vaccinated. There are other such rumours and then we had all the press reports about blood clots and side effects. So the very group that should be vaccinated is hesitant.

Re: Covid-19 Vaccinations

Hi

I had my second Jab this morning, Astra Zenica.

A right performance, due to my medical history and being on Blood Thinners.

I had to wait to see the Doctor.

That was great fun, she had access to my medical history and notes.

Officially you have to sit down for 30 minutes after the injection.

You are not going to are you?

Nope on Frusemide, I need a wee soon.

I only live a mile away.

That was that.

I am happy that I have had it, not doing much for the next fortnight, still being careful.
