Joe Biden is going to meet Floyd's family at the White House ?
An honour usually reserved for dignatories and people of merit ??
That is not to say ST George's family are not people of merit, but
their history has not yet revealed their merit so far?
This on top of their being awarded substantial damages from the
state for his death ??
What more must be done to honour the memory of an unfortunate
Individual who had never managed to be a worthy member of
society in his life ?
A statue ??

Maybe not a statue. But a mural depicting George running from a shop with a packet of cigs in his hand with a couple of shopkeepers in pursuit holding a forged bank note would seem appropriate.

I wonder if George's family ever recompensed the shop for their loss?

I don't see why Biden's doing that. The man was a criminal who fought with the police. He brought it all on himself IMO. When a copper tells you to stop, you stop, it's not rocket science.

this world is mad. He is depicted as some kind of martyr and thats just wrong. I'm sorry he died, he didn't deserve to die the way he did but he was a criminal yet he is being hailed a martyr. It's obviously moreso because of the colour of his skin, I doubt if it were a white criminal any of this would be happening.
