Gosh Feey, that's looks awful, just awful. I can't imagine how you must've felt looking at that and wondering if you'd ever be able to walk again.

As others have said, so glad you're back up and running, (so to speak) and well done to the surgeon for saving it.

Re: Scars, most of us have them so...

I have my share of scars. All of them are a result of an argument I had with a lorry that ran over me and crushed my legs and pelvis

Several scars across what's left of the bottom of my body where my legs, the whole of the right hand side of my pelvis and three quarters of the left hand side of my pelvis were amputated. More on my back where they took skin grafts to close up the wounds from the amputations and one long scar from my breastbone down through my bellybutton to just above my lady parts where they removed my colon and bladder and gave me an ileostomy and urostomy.

Was it difficult to follow regarding exactly what happened to me to cause the scars? If it is, I can explain in more detail

Oh, OK thanks summer. Considering I was an English teacher I made a poor job of understanding your message

Actually you're right. It was a wonder because my mum was told to prepare my funeral. . It took amazing medical staff and nine months in hospital.

I shall now take my puny scars and hang my head in shame for even daring to mention them.
