Bowls

I just had to share this gorgeous picture of the beautiful bowling green. It’s truly a magnificent day today!

I had a fantastic lesson. I’m ‘keeping the line’ now

Hi Minx my Brother in law is a fan of bowling and eager to get back to his club when lockdown lifts.

I used to belong to one of the local bowling clubs. All members were supposed to be assessed as to their bowling skills within three months of joining but I decided I was purely a drinking member so never did ( I don't think they cared to be honest).

The reason I joined was because the club was almost exactly half way between me and a couple of mates whereas the Leagues Club was much closer to me and they felt that gave me an unfair advantage when it came to staggering home time. These days they'd use the courtesy bus to get home so distance wouldn't matter.
