No. Not the TV show, the real sopranos. There's something really beautiful about the human voice when it's used like this...

We'll start with the delectable Anna Netrebko - opera's answer to Nigella Lawson.



Next up is the opera scene taken from the 5th Element film - amazing how she can get to those really high notes.



Another one who can reach those high notes is Diana Damrau, seen here as the Queen of the Night in Mozart's Magic Flute (One of my favourite operas).

One from Patricia Janečková. Who? I hear you ask. She is a now famous opera singer who won the Czechoslovakia's got Talent competition when she was only twelve years old. A very pure voice.
