Invalid file

I tried to post some photos here I took with my new phone ( well I’ve had it six months and not tried the camera yet ) but it said invalid file .
Please anyone tell me what I am doing wrong ?

What is the file extension? It should be jpeg to be able to be uploaded to the site.

Is it an iPhone? Possibly taken in the "live" setting?

SM Yes it is an iPhone and yes I think it is in live the pictures move .
How do I make it not live ?

Only .jpeg, .jpg or .png picture files are accepted by this site it seems, anything else you try to upload is invalid.

Know nothing about an iphone only my male kids have more money than sense enough to own one

Muddy, when you click on the camera, you should see several icons at the top of the screen. The "live" feature looks like a target. If it's on, it will appear yellow. Just press it and it will turn white, which means it is off.

This is another way:

Open the Settings app. It looks like a grey gear.
Tap "Camera" and then "Preserve Settings".
Move the switch next to Live Photos is turned off.
