Re: Total wash out

Tell me about it. I was going to mow the lawns this morning. Now they're going to have to wait until the week after next 'cos we're away for a few days from Monday.

Re: Total wash out

Fed up with it. Finally stopped a couple of hours ago so I could get the dog out for a walk.

Re: Total wash out

It has been raining non stop here, no chance of doing anything outdoors.

Re: Total wash out

We are on a roller coaster here. Summer temps today and plunging back down into near freezing temps later in the week have me fretting about the new plantings.

Sometimes I wish I was still in California. This ride is leaving me breathless.

No grumbles here
It started raining in the night and has rained all day bringing rapid growth and a lovely greenness to the garden
Even my sad wind battered sweet peas are looking happy

The Alchemilla mollis must have grown an inch and a half today , it looks beautiful with gleaming beads of rain drops shining silver...

That description is lyrical enough to make me wish for a deluge! Sounds lovely.

Re: Total wash out

Hi

I do not have much lawn left.

The bit that I do have left looks like it has a pond in the middle.

I have a big problem with my heavy clay soil.
