Re: Coach holidays
Never use Diamond holidays . We recently arranged a trip with them to Bath . I live in Dorset . Arriving on the morning to expect a coach to pick 4 of us up a taxi was there , it took us to Southampton , from there by coach we went to Basingstoke to collect 2 people and from there we travelled to Bath. We spent hours on the coach . We had to do the reverse journey a few days later . I'll never use them again . Had we travelled our self's by car we would have been in Bath in 1 and a quarter hours .Re: Coach holidays
Yesterday a health worker suggested this to me as a way of me getting out and mixing with people. My ex mum in law used to go on lots of coach holidays.Re: Coach holidays
I keep looking at them but haven't taken the plunge. What puts me off is I don't like eating with other people.Re: Coach holidays
I'm here TessRe: Coach holidays
I have a coach company just a few miles away and have been on quite a few. As a non driver being picked up at my door is just the thing. Not so sure about a coach trip to Europe,Northern France perhaps but I once took one to Italy and it took forever.Re: Coach holidays
Re: Coach holidays
Oh dear .Im a loner at the best of times and being stuck at close quarters with a load of people for days on end is just my worst nightmare.Re: Coach holidays
@Cass ... you are only "stuck at close quarters" with the other passengers whilst you are travelling ... the rest of the time you are free to go off and do your own thing. I often don't even bother going on the included excursion(s) as I like to plan my own itinerary using local buses or trains.
