I zapped the aphids on my roses yesterday and yes, it was environmentally friendly, as I have a much loved puss, but she doesn't eat roses! Point being, I don't want to harm her with toxic substances.So, yes, I will kill unwanted thingies in the garden, if they attack my plants.

There are oral medications that stop reproductionof the flea cycle & oral medications such as Program that can be given to pets for fleas. Advantage & Revolution for topical treatments & they work! Never, never use Hartz, etc from the stores. They don't work & could even have high toxicity. I wouldn't dream of giving up an animal because of fleas.
Vets are expensive bit the right medication will end up saving you money.
