Re: Smells of Yesteryear

Does anyone remember smelling salts? We always had them in the house when I was a child ...... horrible smell, they made me feel like passing out instead of bringing me round

Re: Smells of Yesteryear

Hi LQ, the smells that remind me of my lovely late mum?

Bleach, Dettol, a powder puff, a coal fire and although not too many still around now, walking past an old petrol garage where one can smell the petrol fumes. I often walked past one with Mum when I was little. Miss you Mum.
