Perhaps we should ask ourselves why we want to look better than we are naturally?
For most women, they did it when they were younger to attract a man ( although most will deny this
)
I have always thought that, if that man is going to be your partner he will eventually see you as nature made you. Lots of people thought I was pretty when I was young ( and yes I did wear a bit of mascara, eye shadow & lipstick) but I never wanted to be a decoration on a mans arm, I just wanted people to like the person I was!
Now I will still put a bit of make-up on ( but never on my skin) when I go out, but I rarely do to just pop to the shops.
If i need to look pretty for people to like me, they are probably not the sort of people I want to spend time with, and I can't see myself without a mirror, so why bother?
I don't colour my hair as none of it is grey!
