I'd like to add that the minorities who whinge the most seem to benefit the most from 'positive discrimination', at least in this country. How fair is that?

Cities and states across the nation have finally begun to take action against police use of the choke hold. New York State and California are now writing legislation that is expect to pass into law later this month. The New York law would punish officers with a year in jail, and a substantial fine, any time they use the choke hold or use any tactic which cuts off a persons breathing, or cuts off blood flow to the brain. These laws would apply to any officer, regardless if he/she injures a suspect.After the death of so many people, it looks like they are FINALLY getting it.
