Worse summer

God it’s cold I have just found that the central heating has come on its July for goodness sake .
Soon the blooming shops will be full of winter clothes something I find incredibly depressing .

I was so cold I came to bed early to read . Yesterday I actually had a blanket on my knees while sitting . But I'm told we are to expect a heatwave soon

it's getting me down waiting for the summer to arrive. I finish work today for a week and I just saw on the BBC weather site that sunshine is on its way from Wednesday with a high of 26, I shall wait with baited breath for it to arrive, here's hoping. I hate the cold and wet

Excuse me - we have just had a horrible heat wave, days of relentless sunshine, and high humidity. Time for some serious snow!

Perhaps soon we will get to building snowmen on the beach while on summer holidays,
if it wasn't for coronavirus regulations of course!

Not the first time we've not had a perfect summer, so this one I would describe as quite average really, some warm days, some cool days, some wet days some dry days, in fact just the usual mixed up mess that summer usually is...
