Re: Lemon Peel

I have a tree full of lemons but I don't think I could eat the peel.

Re: Lemon Peel

Absolutely! every oncologist keeps a good supply handy, no need for expensive surgery or chemotherapy for those hard to manage tumours just apply lemon peel. Easy.

Meanwhile, back in the real world...

Re: Lemon Peel

Buy your self a zester and scrape the peel into cakes, salads,(fruit and savory types) cous cous, and lemon chicken plus other chicken disihes....
Also just hot water with lemon zest is much nicer than the sawdust herbal tea bags.

Funny thing I just made some Lemon Sago but my zester is crap so I tried chopping it finely but was less than satisfactory. Never mind still tasted good.

Re: Lemon Peel

Our friends son is dying of cancer. He heard about lemons (whole) and their help in the fight against cancer. He now freezes his lemons and grates them over absolutely everything.
I sincerely hope it is true.
