I've just tried to walk heel to toe, ...... can someone give me a hand-up please. I've fallen on the floor.

on a more serious note yes it is important.
As we get older our balance isn't so good which makes us more prone to falls .
If you can't do it very well that is a reminder to try to do some exercise to improve your balance.
