Re: Paying for pain relief?
Do you mean things like asprin, paracetamol, co-codamol, ibruprofin? The supermarket brands of these pain-killers are the same things and same quality; its the quantity of the tablet which is important and as you say the price difference. The type of pain-killer to take depends on the type of pain and what other medication you are taking, e.g ibruprofin and asprin don't mix with blood presssure medication and asprin shouldn't usually be taken if on warefarin. If in doubt I ask the pharmacist or my GP..Re: Paying for pain relief?
I always buy the supermarket's brand of aspirin, have for years, much more reasonably priced. If there's a difference I never noticed it. And while not painkillers, I buy my vitamins and iron tablets on line, not national brands, and save a lot. The markup is just obscene, I think.Re: Paying for pain relief?
Yes Aerolor I do mean the usual pain killers ... & I don't take any other medication.Re: Paying for pain relief?
I always buy the generic pain killers ibuprofen and paracetamol and would never buy the branded meds and pay the exorbitant charges.Re: Paying for pain relief?
