Re: How do you take being told off?

I went to the vets to collect Chloe's Meds today and got told off by the uppity receptionist in front of a yard full of people because I don't use my card for contactless payments .

Last time I went 2 weeks ago no one mentioned contactless when I paid and I think it would have exceeded the limit at 200. The silly woman causing far more of a contamination threat by opening her mouth and arguing with me.

I have felt cross about it all day

I'd rather have the pony & you'd have difficulty getting a pony indoors anyway.

Having a pony and paying a pony have very different meanings!

This is what happens when employing people in that position without any training in communication skills. First contact can win or loose a client quicker than anything else.
That is how we gained and kept so many clients over many years

The woman was very nice about it but me being me, I still felt I was being told off when it didn't really warrant it. I made it outside with no contact with others. I suppose I am of the opinion that arrows on the floor will not stop Corona Virus.

It was supposed to be a joke, Artful Todger. Didn't you notice the laughs.
