I had letters recently from HMRC giving me new tax codes for my occy pension paid monthly, and the paltry private one paid yearly. Yesterday's Daily Mail had an insert all about pensions and helpfully explained all the tax codes. (Yes, I probably could have searched online). A least I now know why these codes were given.

Heaven help them when the NHS one is paid out - unless it's below £10k - and the State Pension next year. Their computers will have a meltdown working out my new codes! (I josh, it should all be simplified by then, with no other income in sight.)
