You've got the eye, I've seen it in the June Snapshot Competition. What about some colourful things you spotted locally July 21.

I need advice on the best lens. This thread has reminded me!

What about a before and after shot, to make it more interesting. You snap your lunch just before you eat it, and then again the day after, or whenever.

Betcha never thought of that.

Who's in? Your support would be fab. And seeing your own personal monthly project running along side would be stupendous.
I think you are a bit late to the party, isn't that what Facebook is for? Seems to be full of people posting random pictures of what they are eating.

...but then again I have just bought myself a new air fryer...

I'm not the best person to ask Annie.

I think there's a 40mm, 60mm, 105mm and more ..

Things you have to ask yourself:
Will you want to use it for more general picture taking as well?
Do you need auto focus (lots of people prefer to focus macro manually)?
Will you be focus stacking?
Have you got tripod & lights? (cheap LED torch can be effective)?

Lateral thinking out the box, I like it. Looking forward to your project Harbal.

Nah, but eating habits get a bit more varied this time of year.
