Re: Flu jab 2018 booked

Well I feel so much better not getting continual chest infections I'll happily carry on no matter what you say having whatever they offer.

For over 65s they are not including extra flu strains, there are three. The difference is that it has a special boost for the immune system because over 65s have a less responsive immune response which has led to the vaccines before being less effective.

Yes, that's how I understood it this year too, Annie.

Flu jab supply problem leaves GP practices facing loss of thousands of pounds

https://www.gponline.com/flu-jab-sup...rticle/1492366

Useful article which confirms adequately how much of a lucrative financial "exercise" (scam) the flu vaccine is !

It DOES represent £THOUSANDS to individual GPs/clinics and is one of the primary earners in any year for them. Money for old rope imo.

The article also confirms that if the take-up rate is the same as last year, that some 7.5m people will be vaccinated. At £9.80 a pop that equates to a tidy £73.5m for the industry.

Note that this so-called latest "enhanced" vaccine is actually very old. FLUAD was first licensed in 1997 in Italy and has since been licensed in 38 other countries. The U.S. approved it under the FDA's accelerated approval program in late 2015.

You can just keep repeating the same old, same old; doesn't mean I or others will pay any attention.

Re: Flu jab 2018 booked

It seems for the past 10 yrs I've been going faithfully every Oct/Nov' to have the flu jab....now I'm told it was a waste of time as it was less than useless at preventing Me from becoming very ill with flu as I was over 65...I'm 75 yrs old now...so there's a super duper vaccine for Folks My age now..oh really?...well They can shove it where the sun don't shine...just not into My arm as I won't believe anything They tell Me from now on

No problem with that Ffosse. I simply present the irrefutable facts, backed up with links to the source references. Something no-one else does.

If you choose to ignore the facts for whatever reason that's for you to wrestle with. No skin off my back either way.

problem is most of those in the medical industry involved at a superficial level are just as clueless as everyone else as to what is going on. Doctors/GPs however I am sure DO know that the vaccine is useless, but as it is one of their primary sources of income, and as their jobs depend on towing the party line and not standing up against the Big Pharma manufacturers, they just play along. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em mentality and the profits ain't bad along the way.

Never mind that people get badly hurt by vaccines, some damaged for life.

Any particular reason why you did that? Genuine question.
