I am Westie walking, conservatory clearing, and looking after a friend who has a stinking cold!

Then - back to making Christmas Cards - am slightly behind schedule with them.

Also have a new book to read - C J Sansom's latest 'Tombland', it arrived yesterday.

I'm into CJ Sansom too Tabby...I loved his character Shardlake and all the books about him. I will look out for his new one....wasn't keen on Winter in Madrid though don't know if you read that one.

Still dark here and so quiet it's gorgeous this time of day it's as if all the world is sleeping

Not much planned today but have pals coming around later for a Chinese take away.....have a good day all.

Hi Summer - I have all the 'Shardlake' series - they are so compelling. I have read 'Winter in Madrid' and enjoyed it - but not enough to keep it.
Have you read 'Dominion' - set in 1950s - in a Britain that surrendered to the Nazi's? Very strange and scary !

Nope not read that one...is his new one about Shardlake? I'm on holiday soon and I always take a book so will look out for it. I love stories about Tudor England and Henry VIII

Morning all.
We have my granddaughter here as we've been babysitting overnight.
It's going to be a cold but sunny day here in East Yorkshire, better wrap up warm this afternoon as I'm out with the lads for my weekly real ale tasting event

Prior to all that socialising, it's some food shopping, filling the car up and a visit to the gym for some cardio on the bike, rower and treadmill.

Good morning folks, another sunny one in prospect so no complaints, it's turning out to be a great autumn...

Just off out with the dogs then after a coffee I'll be going over to my Mum's to do a few odd jobs for her.

Good morning all a very misty autumnal morning here, looks like it’s going to be a nice day.

We had a nice day yesterday with a small birthday celebration for the ‘kids’ and our son is staying for the weekend.

A little misty at the moment, but forecast sunny and quite pleasant.
