Almost opened a tin of tomato soup then saw they have changed the ingredients so don't dare. So had some pasta with a bit of cheese instead. Wish they would stop changing things.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

I am having left overs of roast pork tenderloin with dressing...new white potatoes, peas and carrots and applesauce...which I made yesterday... I am still trying to figure out how to cook for one.

Yum, Beautiful Filly. Sounds like you're doing just fine with this meal; but I know what you mean.

I thought it was difficult for two when my grandson stayed with me and even then he often took the leftovers to work for his lunch. Now that he's off on his own, I'm not really inspired to cook and then freeze for future meals.

Hi CandyCrunch...it really is hard to cook for one and I am having quite the problem doing so. For me it seems easier to cook as usual and then have left overs the next day...and last but not least...freeze the remainder for another time...

To tell the truth...I'd rather just have a sandwich and soup...

Oh well, whatever works...

Have hospital Consultants' Appointment this morning, so on return later will bung a container of faggots in oven whilst peeling, chopping and steaming some sweet potatoes, parsnips and Swede to make an accompanying mash.

A sandwich of some sort for lunch
Dinner later probably a jacket spud with cucumber/tomato and grated cheese.
