Imagine finding this!

Another snippet:

"Roger Chambers howled with joy when his dog found £80,000 in banknotes in his Birmingham garden.
Roger spotted Shih Tzu, Harry, with a £20 note in his mouth and followed him outside - to find the sack of loot. However, he handed the money back after police told him it had been stolen.
Roger said he first thought it was just an old bin bag!

What would you have done?

Re: Imagine finding this!

Sounds like the proceeds of a crime - probably best to hand it in, you never know when the crims will come back for it!

Re: Imagine finding this!

It could have been Roger's wife that's hidden it from him? Just a guess

Counted it, thought what we could do with it then handed it in, honesty would get me in the end.

Conscience wouldn't let me keep any of it, it would be reported to police.

Re: Imagine finding this!

A bin-bag full of used £20 in my garden....hand it in?

Ok-YOU are all angels and icons of goodness.
I'm the scummy one who lets the side down.
No-it's in a bin bag and it's in my garden-and the notes are USED.

So,[theoretically] I'm in financial strife and ask for divine intervention...and when it unexpectedly and amazingly arrives-I'm supposed hand it to someone in a uniform and go back to being in distress! No-I'd look to the skies, say "Thanks,God-here,have some for yourself" and throw a huge wedge of it into the air. If God decides I can keep it all-who am I to argue with God?!?
