Lovely, Gruinard Bay, that's where Anthrax Island is, the MOD experimented with Anthrax there during WW2, the island has been uninhabited ever since, they tried putting sheep on it 20 years ago but they all died.PS : Where was the Queens view taken ? there's a few in Scotland, Balmaha has one on Loch Lomond.

i have not been back to Scotland since i was a teenager, but what memories, stunning scenery and some of the nicest people I have ever met.My pal and I had got up across the border early one morning and waiting for the local cafe to open. Up come this policeman to my minivan and enquired what we were doing. When we explained we were going to tour Scotland but just arrived he said wait here. next thing we knew he had gone and woken the cafe owner and got him to open up for us. What fantastic Scottish welcome. Something that sticks in the memory. Just one of the many tales I could tell
