Re: Computer Viruses

Alot for me to think about with all the good advice given in the different posts, thanks to you all and thanks to you Mart for your information.

It's all got very complicated now, using a computer and getting a virus, never having a virus before. I think if I get one again I'll just give up on owning a computer and go down the library and use theirs free.

I will read over the posts again and decide how to make things securer.

Thanks for telling me how to crash it mickypoppins, I can easily manage to do that.

Thanks again to you all

Try a Mac, they have very few virus attacks.

I've thought about a Mac dandysm but decided against one as my niece has one and she says they are very hard to use, even she still struggles with hers and she is a very clever girl at IT.

Thanks anyway.

Re: Computer Viruses

I'm dumbfounded! I got mine specifically because it was known as user friendly, and I am very untechy, to put it mildly! I love mine.

Re: Computer Viruses

There's a long (6 pages and counting) discussion about Windows and Mac Security. Like many Windows vs. Mac discussions, it becomes quite heated as the number of posts progresses. It gets a bit technical in places but worth a read. People can get very passionate about operating systems.

Re: Computer Viruses

Thanks for that mart.

I've always used Windows dandysmom, I'm too old to change now. I'm pleased you're pleased with your Mac.
