Thank goodness I have this malwarebytes program on my computer. Recently it has stopped/blocked several attempted "hits". I have the premium version installed

You probably should cut down on those porn site imo.

But yeah, MalwareBytes is essential to have in the tool bag imo

I don't pay for the premium versions but routinely run the free scans for peace of mind.

Re: malware

I bought two lifetime licences under a special offer quite a few years ago. There have been a few new releases since then but the licences are still being honoured.

Yes, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (both free versions, of course).

I also use "SpyBot - Search & Destroy" which is very good at keeping the baddies at bay!

Re: malware

Computer users, who are using the 32 bit version of Ccleaner, should be aware that a Trojan Virus was attached to a 32 bit Ccleaner update in August/September this year.

This is a nasty virus which sends much of your data back to a baddie website.

The latest level of Malwarebytes spots this and fixes it.

It spotted it on my 64 bit machine as the 32 bit update was there even though my 64 bit pc would not use it.

If you use Ccleaner you might want to search on Trojan.Floxif

Or look at this link:-
