That one is a bit ambiguous to me. Does it mean you can't teach an old dog new tricks because they are set in their ways and therefore can't be taught anything new or is it that they've seen it all before so nothing is new?

It is hard to abandon old habits I guess. We do get set in our ways.
Still not keen on salt with my wine.
