Love him Azure!
I've never tried painting on acetate.
I've used it for printing, where you scratch a picture onto it and used ink to make prints, that's quite good but fiddly and messy
I have glass paint but only blue! I could do a skyscape!

Reminds me of Custard (from Roobarb & Custard) except Custard is purple.

Acetate takes Glass paints very easily especially for cards
The black outliner is rather messy as it sticks to hands and you need turps to remove it .. I wear plastic gloves.

You could paint a jam jar with your blue glass paint and put wavy lines in for the sea.
