Re: Freeview

If the televisions are connected to an ordinary aeriel they should work, ours is working from one that was put up when we first moved into this house, 33 years ago.
Since the changeover, the digital signal has been updated twice, and everyone got an on screen message to re-tune their sets.
Try to get the menu, then go to INSTALLATION, then ADD CHANNELS, see if that gets you the missing channels.

Re: Freeview

You also need to have the aerial pointing in the right direction towards the transmitter.

Re: Freeview

We run the main tv of the roof aerial and two other tv's on a splitter from an indoor aerial in the loft that have been there for a few years now.
Even the tv's splitting from one indoor aerial get a good transmission and receive all the free channels.
To be fair we get an excellent reception as we are high up and quite near the local transmitter.

Re: Freeview

We have a TV in our spare bedroom, that receives all Freeview channels, and all it has got is a small indoor aerial, it works fine.

Re: Freeview

Sounds like you need to re-tune your Freeview boxes, as a lot of changes to frequencies have taken place over the last year...

Thanks plantman, our area is the last to go over, it starts this month and the final part is in Feb, so we'll probably wait until it goes completely digital and then have a try.

Thanks alot.
