Glass engraving

Hi I am new to the site , I wondered if anyone is interested in glass engraving I have taken it up after painting and drawing for years(not continuously,I'm not working on the world's largest doodle) I am entirely self taught learning through trial and error so I would love to compare notes with anyone else interested in the field

Re: Glass engraving

Hi John - welcome to the forum. I've seen some lovely engraving done on glass but never looked into how it's done. Do you etch with acid or grind it away somehow? Will you be posting pics?
Cheers,
Sue (aka Annie Jack)

We had snow again last Sunday, then it warmed up and yesterday we got a severe thunderstorm with high winds and hail. A mature willow tree came down but no other damage on our street. Spring flowers are out and the weather is warm and sunny today.
