He makes a lot of sense. You could learn a lot from him.

If you could learn, that is

IDS voted for the WA, he forced the HoC to pass it without proper scrutiny. He assured mp's he, IDS, had read the WA properly and they could trust him on his word, it contained nothing detrimental for the UK.

Now, after 6 months leaving the EU, he has read it? I would be ashamed to compare myself with such a fool! IDS has turned himself into the laughing stock of international politics, and doing the british credibility no favour.

Didn't our courts already rule that we didn't have to pay a cent to the EU? Or am I misremembering?

That's right !

EDIT

If its the UK payments for EU defaults on loans that's the issue, Michael Gove has the power to change the WA.

No he hasn't. While the deal was signed at the beginning of this year, its exact implementation is being decided at a joint committee of EU and UK officials, with michael gove heading the UK delegation. If the joint committee cannot reach a shared opinion on a part, it is the ECJ which has the final say. It's all described in the WA.

That was a fable going round before the WA was signed. Boris signed the UK up to the payments in the WA, and HoC ratified it (on instigation of IDS if I may remind you)
