Art, may I join your 'Who Needs a Man' club please?

Just this afternoon I unscrewed the U-bend under my kitchen sink, emptied it and screwed it back safely - without spilling one single drip of water.

Genius.

Mups That is brilliant. Just stand back as the mountain of Congratulations pour in!

Watch out for basser, he’s looking for someone to help him with his pistons and big end on his motor.
I can’t help him with that at the moment, as l have a brain transplant operation to do later!

Re: Who Needs A Man When You Can Do Jobs Like This?

This reminds me of the day I changed a flat tyre for a spare, in a howling gale, on a hill, in the dark, during rush hour on a busy A road.
I used my feet to turn the big spannery thing so that I was sure the nuts had been tightened to the absolute limit.

My bedraggled appearance meant I had to recount the heroic tale for my parents (I was picking the children up on my way from work). They were gushing in their praise and admiration

And then as I and the kids piled in to the car for our brief journey home my dad added a
"Rhian, just ask Mark (ex) to double check the nuts for you when you get back...
Just in case" !!!

Thank you so much, Art.

I do hope Basser sorts his pistons and big end out. I would so like to offer to help, but I am rather building an extension next.

P.S. I sincerely hope the transplant went well.

Dads know best. It was probably the mention of 'the spannery thing' that worried him

I'll 'brace' myself now.
