For those who don't believe that, just listen to marc francois lettre.

No it doesn't. The WA is a time-limited piece of legislation that expires on Dec 31, 2020 at 11pm UK time as has been explained so many times to you in many other threads on this forum in the past. Even if you can prove it's not time-limited, it doesn't mean to say that it can't be repealed on the 4th Jan 2021 (first working day of 2021).

Wow! What a piece of reasoning. Stating the one thing as a certainty, but if I am able to prove your statement wrong...
You must be very convinced of your argument? Not! I pity you more with every post you produce.

Hi

The Transition Period ends on January 1st, other parts of the Withdrawal Agreement do not.

Boris has signed up to this.

Not to continue with it would make us untrustworthy and lessen our chances of getting new Trade Agreements.

It is a small price to pay for our Future Prosperity.

The Withdrawal Agreement is repealed by UK law - all of it and it is repealed by EU law at the end of this year.

If you want bits to remain in UK law you need to put these new bills through parliament.

You can't have a treaty being law when the treaty is not the law. It's a bit like being half pregnant

Indeed! And that is just what you did by passing the WA bill through parliament. So no need for more bills. The issue is settled already.

The Bill provides for the direct application of the Withdrawal Agreement provisions in
domestic law where relevant, whilst also recognising the sovereignty of the Parliament of the
United Kingdom. The Bill amends the EU (Withdrawal) Act 2018 to ensure it reflects the terms
of the Withdrawal Agreement. The Bill also creates powers to make secondary legislation,
where appropriate, to enable the Withdrawal Agreement to be implemented domestically. It
includes amendments to the Northern Ireland Act 1998 in relation to rights, safeguards and
equality of opportunity protections contained in the Belfast (Good Friday) Agreement 1998.
All these measures provide for the implementation of the Withdrawal Agreement agreed
between the UK and the EU pertaining to the UK’s withdrawal from the EU.

You will find this in the explanatory notes of your government here: https://www.gov.uk/government/public...agreement-bill

Yeah, that's the EU for you!

And again you end the sensible exchange of factual arguments by starting to bicker.
