If radio waves, Wifi etc were all physical things, we wouldn't be able to leave the house - it would be like getting tangled up in string....!

No dog walking either...imagine the leads getting tangled up with the wifi hotspots?

Couldn't have long hair either - everyone would have to wear hats.

I was sitting in the lounge today trying to think of a random thought
for the day ??
When l heard a whirring noise and a clang from the hallway ,
Upon investigation l found that Rhumba, ( our live in robot floor
sweeper!) had crashed into the brass coal scuttle standing just
outside the lounge door, and was trying to push it through the
closed door to the kitchen ! When she,( we call her she ) realised
that l was there she immediately rotated, and charged towards me,
So l retreated back into the lounge and sat on the sofa and put my feet up onto a coffee table to allow her free access to the whole area
of floor for sweeping !
Meantime Rhumba had thumped into a rocking chair and was busy
trying ,( and succeeding) to move the chair to a different position
in the room !!
This incident prompted the random thought of "why do we tend to
treat machines as if they were animals" ??

My random thought of the day is why does the eggshell stick to some hard boiled eggs but not others?

All to do with age of the egg. The older the egg, the easier to peel (&vice versa).
