Re: Boris Has it

Not much good could come of the situation but Boris being elected is better than Hunt being elected. Because nobody would have voted for Hunt in a general election but at least people will vote for Boris and keep Corbyn out.

The biggest problem is that Boris does not have any grasp of finance and is likely to bankrupt the country. No wonder Hammond has talked of resigning. But then Corbyn would also bankrupt us. Anything could happen next.

It will be interesting to see what happens next but if Boris doesn't swing Brexit then Brexit will be dead.

At last we are getting world statesmen that don't pretend to be interested in anyone but themselves.

Sorry I don't think it was a rousing speech more like a circus act and Boris the chief clown

Re: Boris Has it

The problem with Boris and his antics, is that he wants to be liked so he performs and tries to lighten the mood..

I think most people want to be liked and personally, I don't see any problem with wanting to lighten the mood.

It's about time we had a bit of optimism in the UK and that more people start looking at the positive aspects of our leaving the EU rather than focusing on any negative aspects there may be which are more than likely going to be temporary anyway.

Too many politicians have viewed leaving the EU as a problem to be overcome rather than an opportunity to grasp. That has been the problem from the start.
