I cut my Hosta back today because the leaves have finally started to die back. It was in full flower until the beginning of last week. I have been lucky because it had not been touched by slugs at all, probably because the pot is on a bed of gravel.

So what to do next? Should I just leave it as it is and it will come back in the Spring? Or should I move the pot into the shed over winter and water it occasionally?

What do you do with your Hostas over Winter?

Yes I have cut mine back too...I do that every year and they seem to grow ok the next year...not sure if we are breaking any gardening rules though ....but if it works why fix It

Thank you, that is encouraging, I might just cover the soil with some mulch in case we get snow like last year.
