My birthday will be here in a few days time and I deliberately don't advertise the date on any public forums. It's nice when friends send me cards but a message on a forum from someone I don't know and will never meet doesn't mean anything to me.

I removed My DOB from My profile a few years ago when a 'lovely' Member described Us older Folks on here as 'geriatrics'...but I do wish Members a Happy Birthday if I'm online on the day.
