A poem by joyce.
This is a little poem written by Joyce for a competition at a Drop in Centre for the Mentally Ill.She can no longer read or write.
Anyone from Merseyside will appreciate it,
My voice has the tone of Liverpool scouse,
and a football ground looked over our house.
We had Beatles and Caverns and a Cast-Iron Shore,
A Tunnel,a Race Course and many things more.
We`ve a Cathredral too many .
(they`re two a penny)
But we have docks that are dead.
and we lost our Pier Head,
I miss the old place,
But I love the new face of my city.
