Paradise Riflebird
By Trevor Andersen · · From Pic of the Week
Paradise Riflebird (Ptiloris paradiseus) photographed within the Border Ranges National Park, NSW. This species is endemic to eastern Australia, where it occurs in the rainforests of Queensland and New South Wales.
Riflebirds are challenging subjects. Paradise displays are often carried out high up in the canopy away from camera - telephoto lens reach. Riflebirds expose their pectoral shield below the iridescent throat feathers called sequins.
Tracking their movements within the rainforest is difficult due to their unpredictable nature, the difficult terrain and large territory within their range.
My journey will continue next spring to try and capture his display

And away we go.... Canola harvest 2018
Published 15 minutes ago. Horsham VIC 3400

In Australia today, canola represents about 45 per cent of vegetable oils consumed. From a minor crop in the late 1980s, canola is now our third-largest broad-acre crop - we supply 20 per cent of the world market.

Yes you are right PS
Canola oil is made from the seeds of a plant called rape, which is in the turnip family. ... In nature, there is actually no such thing as a “Canola plant” that produces “Canola oil.” Canola oil is simply a trade name for low-erucic acid rapeseed oil.
