Re: Update on my dogs tumour

Wonderful news Lion Queen!.

Please watch her closely for recurring tumors- especially if she is older

I took in my neighbor's Weimaraner and Lab when they moved to town. Both dogs were 9-10 years at the time. The Weimaraner had literal baseball size tumors under each front armpit. I took her to a dog surgeon, had them removed and they did test as benign.

However, the vet warned me they could grow back. They had started to grow back a few years later but she was around 12 by then, had developed other issues and had to be laid to rest.

At any rate, keep an eye on your dog

Re: Update on my dogs tumour

So happy to hear your baby will be fine. I have two cats-both have cancer. II've raised them from kittens now they're 17 and both on pain medication and others. I'm happy to say they've outlived expectations and still have quality of life (eat well enjoy petting, etc) but I know I won't have them too much longer. I'm just grateful for every day I have them. Lots of pets and cuddles in my house! Congratulations on the wonderful news!
