Re: Where you live.

Hi

Some of my neighbours are entertaining to say the least.

I cannot complain about the lack of Police presence recently.

Re: Where you live.

I'm in a quiet cul-de-sac with outstanding neighbours.
A small village that's soon to expand with new housing developments all over the place....
Nice countryside close by though, and being in the middle of the country it's as easy to get to Devon and Cornwall as it is to Scotland.....Some fantastic seaside resorts just over one hour away..... Too long in the tooth to move now.....

I like the view of fields and horses. I also live near enough to a big city to enjoy everything that entails.

Re: Where you live.

Cheap beer at the corner shop, three internationally renowned hospitals within walking distance. (I'm a sick man).

Europe biggest shopping centre, Britain's biggest royal park, Britain's biggest chinatown and everything steeped in history within a 20 minute bus-ride (free bus pass).

Lots of takeaways for £5 within walking distance, lots of lovely happy people. Quick escape routes to the M4 & M40

Downside: It's not Lisbon.

Re: Where you live.

I love being able to walk out of my door straight into the open fields and having the hills above me

I live near a small town which has all I need in the way of shop.

Re: Where you live.

I like the thought of being able to walk to the shopping centre in about ten minutes. There is a railway station close by, and Southampton Airport is just a few miles away. Plus the fact, an excellent bus station and service is also available. Not too worried about being in the countryside, had that for 12 years in Lincolnshire.
