I only feed mine about once a month Carol, using a Cactus feed.

I use cactus food too but only twice a year early spring and middle of the summer.

I will try your way mups as mine are fairly slow growing I keep 4 as I like to let a couple recover after I have chopped bits off them.

Yes, don't feed during the autumn/winter when they are 'resting', just spring and summer.

I also report mine into fresh compost at the start of spring too.

Just thought I'd revive this thread to show you the same plant to compare with how it looked in the picture at the start of this thread.

I agree, donkeyman.

Carol, may I also suggest you take those 'babies' off the mother plant too, and repot them in cactus compost.
It looks like you have several babies growing, so you can make more plants with those off -shoots.
They will over crowd the pot if you don't.

I would also take it out of the double pot too, else how can the water drain away?
