Yes, occasionally, for carrots but l use the plastic one for those as it cuts thinner.
When l make pasties, l sometimes use the metal chipper to cut up the carrots and potatoes and then l cut them into cubes.

That looks really good Art. My husband makes some great battered fish and chips. He gets the fish fresh frozen from Newfoundland. It’s the best fish n chips I have ever had.
I did think about it but l couldn’t drink a whole bottle on my own. Even if I’d had a couple of glasses, the rest would’ve been flat tomorrow, so l just had water!
Art , my friend Sue likes her champagne and when she pops a bottle and drinks a couple of glasses she then puts a teaspoon in the open top and it keeps its sparkle until the next day . It really does work . Worth a thought
